In modern life, all people have more equal rights in their society no matter how they look or what skin color they have or what religion they belong. White and Black people go to the same school. Those different colored peoples work together at the same workplace, at the same position. Those things are normal to us to see in our society today. However, in the past centuries, there had been lots of unequal rights occurred to certain peoples such as African-Americans. If there were no one like Martin Luther King Jr., there might have been some more discrimination today.
