3.1. Brachial Plexus
Most muscles of the upper limb are supplied by branches of the brachial plexus, localized in the cervical region between the anterior and the middle scalene muscle. It formed by numerous spinous nerves:
The fifth and sixth cervical nerve (C5,6) form the superior trunk.
The seventh cervical nerve (C7) forms the middle trunk.
The eighth cervical (C8) and the first thoracic nerve (T1) form the inferior trunk.
