英語科教育法2 日大通信 合格A
- クラッシェンは第二言語習得の基本的な考え方として「習得―学習仮説、自然順序性仮 説、モニター仮説、インプット仮説、情意フィルター仮説」の５つから構成される仮説を 提唱した。この５つの仮説はモニター・モデルと呼ばれ1970年から80年代始めにかけて第 二言語習得の分野に大きな影響を及ぼした。ここではこの理論の長所と実際の指導におい てどのように関連するのかまた役立ちうるかを述べ、その後この理論の短所を他の第二習 得理論と比較しながら述べていく。 まずはじめに長所であるが、大きく分けて２つある。１つは第二言語習得という目に見 えないものを比較的わかりやすい考え方を基盤にし説明していることが挙げられる。２つ 目は理論だけでなく、言語教育（ナチュラルアプローチ）にも発展させたことが挙げられ る。このことは特に重要であり、他の第二言語習得理論（シューマンの文化変容モデルや チョムスキーの普遍文法理論など）とは違い具体的に教授法に生かされているということ は大きな特徴である。 次にどのように実際の指導においてモニター・モデル理論が役立っているのかを述べて いく。ここでは５つの理論の中で特にイ
