My Idea of a Perfect Society - Utopia
- My Idea of a Perfect Society - Utopia Before describing my idea of a perfect society, I would like to mention some points which compound the idea of utopia. I. What is "utopia"? "Utopia" is defined as an ideal place, state or society which is thought never to exist, and in which everything is perfect. Many writers, commencing with Thomas More, and William Morris, have ever written their own utopias. Even now, utopias are getting more and more varied, and these utopias can be briefly dived into "economic utopia", "political and historical utopia", "religious utopia", and "scientific and technological utopia." Although utopianism has sometimes been criticized as being fanciful, they play an important role to reflect the inadequacy of actual world by envisioning ideal society. The lives in utopian society are quite similar to those in communist society. For example, in common with almost all of utopian tales, people living there are so cheerful, treat both male and female equally, have clear clothes on, do not want extra property, and just grow their own food and exist on that, to name a few, while it is true that there are some important differences among each utopia. II. The differences of ideologies over utopian society and the issue on them. - 「福祉国家の思想と原理について述べよ」 私たちが生活する現代の日本では、貧しい家に生まれたからといって学校に行けなかったり、病気になっても医療が受けられないことはない。また、身寄りのない老人が路上生活を強いられたり、そのまま餓死したりするケースもほとんどないといっていい。それは、日本国憲法第25条の生存権に、「すべて国民は、健康で文化的な最低限度の生活を営む権利を有する」と明記されており、それに伴ってさまざまな福祉政策や社会保障が国民を守っているからである。「日本は福祉国家であるか」という問いには人それぞれ答えがあるが、福祉国家とは一般的に、「民主主義政治経済体制のもとで、労働政策、社会保障政策、住宅政策、教育政策等、総合的な国家政策によって、完全雇用と所得再分配を目指し、国民生活の安定を図ろうとするもの」であるから、日本を含めた現代の先進国のほとんどは、
