Recently in Japan, argument about revising the constitution has been a big problem.
Fundamentally, constitution cannot be prohibited to be revised just because the constitution is a fundamental and an important law. It should be revised according to each period or demand of history like other kinds of law.
But the problem is that people might concern about some parts of the constitution which have been kept for 60 years since the WW2 with an idea for peace being revised easily.
So today, I’d like to talk about what I am thinking the constitution should be like in the future.
Japanese constitution was enforces in 1947 and has been taking root among Japanese people. Especially, the ninth article of the Constitution shows the ideal of human beings. This is about never using force when resolving international disputes. This article , in my opinion, tries to introduce the thought of national law to international society.
After this was constituted, no war which had relation to Japan broke up. And procedure of peace talks and reconciliation has been formed nationally. In other words, this is one of the developments of resolution of international disputes.
Like above, in the world , the thought that the war including terrorism should be resolved by international court or international arrangement has been inspiring the world of international law.
And the most remarkable movement of this thought is the federation of the world. This federation tries ,in the future, to resolute disputes, territorial problems and all kinds of troubles under the power of law,legislation and administration by taking some parts of sovereign power from countries around the world.
