    My memorial meal
    I have many memories of food that my mother made; especially the stir-fried vegetables bring me back to the memories of my high school days. Still now, I can't forget that appetizing taste.
    When I was a high school student, I lived with my mother because my father left far for his new assignment in business. So, my mother and I lived lazily everyday and we liked such life. At suppertime, we referred to cooking programs and cooked dishes together. We made various dishes from the time-consuming ones to the easy ones. Especially we liked "food cooked on a hot plate". It is very simple cooking. We just need to cut and broil meat and vegetables. At first, my mother liked meat and fish, so we ate meat and fish as our main food and had vegetables as garnish. But we had felt those foods were very heavy for us because both of us were small eaters in those days. Then my mother said to me "I'd like to suggest that we eat more vegetables." And we stop ate too much meat and fish.
    Gradually, we came to eat much more vegetables than meat and fish. Finally, our hot plate was full of only vegetables. Before broiling, the vegetables such as cabbage, bean shoot and green pepper seemed to overflow from the hot plate, so we thought that we can't finish eating such a big amount of vegetables. But unexpectedly, cooked vegetables were very small. Of course, we ate all of these vegetables. It was very healthy and cheap. We often ate the "large serving of stir-fried vegetables".
