資料紹介
本論文では、（一）作品の柱である思想と登場人物によるその具現化、（二）〈山谷もの〉におけるこの作品の位置づけ、（三）他の武者小路作品と比べた時の魅力の３点に焦点を絞って、考察を進めていく。
私はこの作品の思想を実生活に応用することで、自分と周囲の人たちが以前より幸せになったと感じるので、この論文によって、作品に流れる思想を知って頂くことにより、読者や周囲の方々のより幸せな生活へと道が開かれることになれば、本当に幸せである。

SUMMARY
Thought and Positioning of “Shinri-Sensei”

“Shinri-Sensei [Mr.Truth]” is a novel that was appeared serially in a magazine “Kokoro [Heart]”, and in circulation for 2 years from 1949 to 1950. The author is Saneatsu Mushanokoji known as a staff of the magazine “Shirakaba [White Birch]”.
The novel introduced a happy thought about how we live. To study this novel, adopting the perspective of thought is very useful. The first objective of this paper is to form a clear view of the thought.
First, what makes the characters moral and happy? There are so many characters in this story. For example, a calligrapher, some painters and some models. and they become happy in love, consideration, and so on. What is the root of these good human relations? What make the novel very moving? Healthy thought?
In that case, what is the essential? In this novel Shinri-sensei [Mr.Truth] lectures two times. The first one is “The way for viewing our life in a positive light” and the second one is “The power of truth” among many remarks in these lectures, what is the core? How the activities of the characters embody an ideal of truth?
“Shinri-Sensei” is unique that it is one of “Sanya-mono”, a series of Mushanokoji’s novels open with a sentence like “This is also a story heard from Sanya.”
“Sanya-mono” continued writing from 1948 to 1969, and contains 68 novels including short pieces. Then what is relationship between “Shinri-Sensei” and other works in “Sanya-mono”? And compared with his other works, what are the appeal of this novel?
All of these questions constitute the main themes in the research of “Shinri-Sensei”.
要旨
『真理先生』は、雑誌『心』に1949年～1950年の２年間掲載された小説であり、著者の武者小路実篤は、雑誌『白樺』の同人として有名である。この小説では、私たちがどのように生きるべきかに関する妙案が示されており、作品は「思想」という視点から考えると、読み解き易い。この論文の最初の目的は、その思想を明確に把握することである。
初めて小説を読んだ時、どうして登場人物たちが幸せを掴んでいるのか、そして、どうしてこの小説はこんなに感動的なのかが気になった。その理由が作品に流れる健全な思想であるとするならば、その考え方の中心はどのようなものなのだろうか。この小説の中心的な登場人物である真理先生は、登場人物たちの前で２回講演を行っている。１度目の題は「人生肯定の〓」であり、２度目は「眞理の力」というものであった。それらの講演内容を含む真理先生の数多くの発言の中で、...
